What satellite frequency bands are used for the SuperLink+ service?
SuperLink+ services are delivered using both C & Ku-band Satellite frequency bands.

What data rates are supported?
SuperLink+ service support data rates ranging from 64 K bit/s to 2.048 M bit/s.

Can SuperLink+ support multiple channels per carrier (MCPC) applications?
Yes Supernet has the experience of developing many MCPC applications.

What satellites have been used by Supernet?
Supernet has experience of using JSAT, Asiasat2, Asiasat3, Chinastar, Thaicom 3, ST-1, INTELSAT series & PAKSAT -1.

When did Supernet install the first earth station?
Supernet installed the first earth station in 1995.

What is the minimum antenna size that the SuperLink+ service uses?
The antenna size is determined by the customer’s minimum data requirement. For C-Band Supernet has deployed many networks using 2.4 m antennas. For Ku-Band the minimum antenna size can be either 1.8 m or 1.2 m depending on the chosen satellite.

How long does it take to deliver a typical SuperLink+ service?
Typically a two or three site network can be delivered within four to six weeks after the receipt of the order.

What other value added services can Supernet provide as a part of the SuperLink+ service?
Supernet has the experience of performing system design (Link Budget analysis); preliminary site survey’s; earth station installation, commissioning testing & integration.

What is the typical transmission delay associated with satellite communication?
Typically the delay for a single hop (Tx E/S to satellite to Rx E/S) is 270 milli seconds (0.27 second). The total round trip delay (double hop) is 540 milli second (0.54 second).

What applications can the SuperLink+ service support?
This service can support data, voice, video and broadcast (TV & Internet) applications. SuperLink+ service is like a private leased line service.

What is the minimum duration of the service contract?
The term of the contract is flexible. However Supernet prefers to enter into a contract for eighteen (18) to twenty four (24) months.

Can the customer procure the equipment?
Yes Supernet can sell the equipment to the customer.
