International Networking and Communications Conference (INCC) 2008, which is being organized by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). The conference will be held at LUMS from May 1-4, 2008.
Over the years, the telecom industry has shown a significant growth in South Asia, indicated by the commencement of world's largest 4G broadband wireless (WiMax) deployment in Pakistan. The
INCC 2008 is the LUMS initiative to foster the research and development in the telecom industry of the country. International Networking and Communications Conference (INCC) intends to bridge industry and academic world by providing a common platform where researchers will be able to fruitfully interact. This conference will provide access to world-class research from both inside and outside the region, and pave the way for research collaborations within academia and with the industry.
Over 300 networking and telecom experts, including researchers and practitioners, are expected to attend the conference. Furthermore, over 200 researchers from around the world are expected to submit their research to the conference.
The conference will address the issues including Mobile Communications, Telecom Regulation, Telecom Infrastructure, Voice over IP, Mobile IP, Software Systems for Networks and Communications, Quality of Service, Network Management and Wireless Local Loop.
